I'm Jeremy Young, Senior Editor at International Wine Report. I taste and score wine for a living. Cigars are what I reach for when the tasting is done.

This is my log. Every cigar I smoke gets a score out of 100 and a write-up, done while I still remember the last third.

What you get on every review

The full spec: wrapper, binder, filler, factory, blender and size. My notes by the thirds. What I drank with it, since pairing is the part of this I know best. The scores other publications gave it, with a link to their review.

Then a price table, sorted by what one cigar actually costs you. A box of 24 and a 5-pack are hard to compare on the sticker, so I do the division.

How the site pays for itself

Some buy links are affiliate links, so a retailer may pay me a small commission when you buy. That never changes a score, and nobody can pay for a review. The details are here.

Cuban cigars

I review Cubans when I smoke them abroad. US retailers can't sell them, so those reviews have no buy links.
